Describing Appearance Activity
After you download and unzip the file, you will find 7 interactive PDFs. This is first and foremost an ESL task-based activity. Students, individually, in pairs or small groups, will choose one of the activities at the top of their card they need help with and choose one of the characters on their card to help them. To help them make their choice, they will fill out the text boxes on their card and complete the ideas. Once everyone is finished, they will present their ideas to the class. You can easily extend the activity by changing the activity or the card for all the groups.
The task is meant to take up about 15-20 minutes of class time with your beginner students. However, you can use it with more advanced students or groups as long as you expect more detail.
