Stocking stuffers… Why do they exist? Why are they always gift cards with too little money on them to buy anything at the store they are meant for? Why are we putting socks near a fireplace? Isn’t this a fire hazard? I need answers. This time we’re stuffing a Christmas-themed SMS activity in your stocking.
How to play
- Screen share the PDF for your class. Easy start…
- Students take turns choosing an SMS and responding to it in the chat. The first student to correctly guess which message they are responding to gets a point.
- You could also play it by choosing a message for the whole class to respond to. They type their responses in the chat and you hold a vote for the funniest / best / most Christmas-y etc. response.
- You take a bow for using such a cool and fun activity during your lesson.
