Looking for a fun way to review questions or just wind down the end of class? This little game will both challenge and engage your students at any level, but is recommended for A2/B1. The premise is simple. There are several scenarios on the activity sheet with prompts below each one. Hand out a printable to pairs or small groups, project it on the classroom board, or screen share. You can play in a couple of ways.

  1. Choose a scenario and let all the students come up with one question each. Then, have them all present their questions one at a time. For each original question, the question maker gets a point. Vote for the best question for a bonus point! Move onto another scenario and repeat. To take it further, you can put them in pairs to answer the questions afterwards.
  2. Give students a time limit to write one question for any scenario they choose. Present the questions one at a time and have the others guess which scenario it comes from. The question maker and the responder both get a point.
  3. Come up with your own way to play and share it in the comments!
