Never Enough: the game

A fun game to practice and master adverbs of quantity and frequency with your A1 and A2 students.

Description

Never enough! is a teaching game for the practice and revision of adverbs of quantity and frequency for A1 and A2 students.

The basic idea of the game is to react to phrases and pictures by using adverbs of quantity and frequency.

3 variants of the game are explained in the teacher instructions. The first two variants can be used to work on either adverbs of quantity or adverbs of frequency (or both at the same time). The third variant, to be used last, allows for the revision of the two types of adverbs at the same time and asks for more autonomy from your students.

Target Language

Use adverbs of quantity and frequency.

Level

Designed for A1-A2 students.

Includes

  • An 11-page PDF with teacher instructions for all 3 variants of the game and the game elements to be printed and cut out (a QUANTITY game board, a FREQUENCY game board, QUANTITY cards, FREQUENCY cards, game pieces, and IMAGES).
  • a “VIRTUAL VERSION” folder containing all the worksheets and game cards in separate .jpg files. This allows for the possibility to use these illustrated worksheets to be multiplied: screen share a worksheet during an online course, project a worksheet in your classroom, display a worksheet on a smartboard or even just your computer screen, or simply select the worksheets you want to print, thus saving paper and ink, etc.

I have been teaching English abroad since receiving my CELTA certificate in Poland in 2018. I enjoy tracking my individual students’ development but love having lessons with big groups! Now that I teach online, I am accompanied by my sidekicks Olaf, Mała, Pirate and Bandit on a regular basis.

It takes a team of 13 to create and produce this material. In order for that to continue, please think about purchasing your own subscription to ESL Expertz and encourage your colleagues to do the same. We appreciate your confidence and support!
