Typically I choose more informative videos to base these discussion worksheets on. I took a different direction this time because I found this particular video very powerful. Ric Elias was on Flight 1549, also know as the Miracle on the Hudson. Sitting in a front row seat, he had a unique view of everything that unfolded that day. He talks about his terrifying experience and what he learned about life in the process and during the aftermath. If you’re looking to talk about something a bit different, especially with a group you know well, this could be a very interesting and engaging choice.
