Present Continuous SMS Game

Here’s another one of our SMS games. This time, students get to use as much present continuous as possible!

How to use this activity

Choose a student to start. Without giving away which, the student must respond to one of the SMS messages on the sheet by typing their response in the chat. Make sure they use the present continuous. The first student to correctly guess which SMS is being responded to gets a point and then chooses the next SMS to respond to. Play until all the messages have been used. The student with the most points at the end wins.

For example:

The first student secretly chooses SMS 1 and types the following answer in the chat:

“I can’t, I’m driving to my mum’s. I’m already halfway there!”.
