Prove it! Romance Edition
This game will help your students to practice their Love & Romance vocabulary.
Also, we’ve already created other “Prove it” games.
I’ve been working on a huge new resource for all of you over Christmas break, and here is a little sneak peek that has been modified to talk about love. It’ll be great for anybody doing a conversation group related to relationships, love, etc. or anyone reviewing basic time expressions.
The aim of the game is simple. Choose a card from the middle of the board. Students will then have to use the surrounding time expressions to prove whatever it is they are being asked. It is important to note to your students they do not need to talk about themselves. These answers can be as imaginative (and therefore, fun) as they can be.
Check the box every time a particular time expression has been used. The student or team that makes a grammatically correct phrase earns a point. Move on to the next card after all the time expressions have been correctly used.
Probably not an activity for younger students, but adults will get a kick out of this one!
