Everyone’s got an opinion about where to live and how to do it. Hear what your students have to say on the matter and give them some useful speaking time to incorporate their fresh new city and town vocabulary. Students can complete this city vocabulary speaking activity in pairs, small groups or as a class and it’s pretty straight forward. Read a phrase and tell your partner, group or the class whether you agree or disagree and why.

If you want to take it further, once you complete the activity, ask your students to each come up with their own opinion and do the activity once more with different partners and the list of new opinions.
