It’s the last day of our 15 days of irregular verb activities and we’ve got a Halloween ESL activity with irregular verbs to get your students into the holiday spirit. The monsters had a great, or terrible, Halloween night. What did they do?
How it works
You can use this activity in multiple configurations and styles. Essentially, it is simply another way to get your students to practice their irregular verbs while using a Halloween-themed activity. Students must answer the question “What did these monsters do on Halloween night?” They can answer individually, as a group, you can play a guess-who game as a class, you can set a time limit to see who can make the most phrases, who can make the funniest, the scariest, etc. This Halloween ESL activity with irregular verbs will be a great warm-up to one of your Halloweek classes.
