Introduce Yourself for Beginners
Use this activity as a creative way to talk about yourself for beginners. Students will be forced to use three words to introduce themselves.
Everyone likes to talk about themselves, but doing so in English might be hard for your beginners. They want to be more original and creative with their responses, but sometimes they just don’t have enough experience or confidence necessary to come up with something interesting. One way to fix that issue it to give them the right prompts to work with! In this talk about yourself for beginners activity, the worksheet does just that. Students pick a card on the worksheet and must then come up with three phrases they will use to introduce themselves to their classmates.
Being forced to use words in this type of activity will push your students to use what they know in new ways and generate original, and maybe even creative, sentences. You could also use this talk about yourself for beginners activity as an ice-breaker activity for any level!
