What are you doing…

The idea is simple: students choose a word and decide what they have to say about it by placing it in a specific category, seamlessly learning it at the same time!

How to use this activity?

The concept is very straightforward! Students work in pairs, small groups or as a class. They take turns associating the words in the middle of the page with the boxes of the mind map by creating sentences that answer the questions found in each box. The boxes with green text can be skipped if the structures have not yet been taught.

As a teacher of ESL and French as a foreign language for several years, I have had the opportunity to work in several countries and with a wide variety of students. Now my job got even better: I get to help make your lessons all pretty and fun! Rather cool, I'd say.

It takes a team of 13 to create and produce this material. In order for that to continue, please think about purchasing your own subscription to ESL Expertz and encourage your colleagues to do the same. We appreciate your confidence and support!
