When you think of teaching your students phrasal verbs, what’s the first topic that comes to mind?

Duh. Household chores. I dunno why we decided to throw so many phrasal verbs into the home

But we did it anyway!

Students work individually or in teams to respond to situations found in the boxes at the top by using the phrasal verbs provided to their team at the bottom.
Full sentences only, Vladislav…

Target Language

Phrasal. Verbs. Around. The. House.

I wouldn’t try this with your A1’s… slow and steady with those phrasal verbs!
But it will be a great discovery tool for your A2’s and an even better review for your B1’s.

Make sure you have at least 15 minutes to get through this activity. If you have a full class, or more than 2 teams, 20-25 minutes is probably more realistic.

Download the ZIP file and you get a PDF to print out for your offline students or screen share the JPG.
